Michigan Equine Facilitated Learning

Mindful, Serene Horse Classes and Riding Lessons in Lansing, MI

Do you want your kids to learn better coping and stress reduction skills through time with horses?

Our riding lessons and unmounted lessons give adults, children or teens a chance to be around horses. It’s amazing the life skills and patience horses can teach!

Starting July 1, we are adding riding lessons to our counseling, wellness, sports psychology and therapeutic riding program due to ongoing requests. Our equine facilitated learning classes and riding lessons aren’t therapy, but they are taught by therapists and certified instructors. They are a good fit for you if:

  • Nature and animals seem to ground you and bring you peace

  • You prefer interactive and trauma-informed teaching

  • You learn by practicing and experiencing, rather than just hearing

  • You want excellence in instruction and to work with horses who are well cared for and healthy

Schedule a time to meet our lesson horses and learn about our program.

Our team looks forward to meeting you!

What certifications does our team hold?

  • PATH International Certification

We also have an IEA coach and a National Champion Arabian show circuit instructor that help with our clinics, trainings and riding workshops.
